The history of Menorca through the island’s most emblematic palace!
The intact conservation of the most iconic buildings in the historic centre of Ciutadella has allowed us to understand and show the captivating history of a city with different dominations over the years.
The palace of Torre Saura is located in a privileged place, in front of the Plaça des Born, in the epicentre of Ciutadella, next to the town hall. With its 18th century style, it has held the title of County of Torre Saura since 1818 and still belongs to the De Olives family today.
With its 6,000 square metres it is a work of art open to the public. You will find an infinity of furniture and utensils from the 18th century and even the Queen’s throne, where Queen Isabel II sat in 1860.
Don’t miss the deep history of Ciutadella in the biggest palace of the island!
