Description

Native animals and exotic species at the Lloc de Menorca!

Watch native animals of the island of Menorca from the fence, as well as other exotic species from around the world. From feeding goats to interacting with lemurs.

You will find macaques, Minorcan cows, kangaroos from Australia, reptiles and snakes, titis and koi fish, among many other animals. The animals living there have been taken in thanks to projects with the main European rescue centres.

Lloc de Menorca is divided according to animal species. In the bird area you will see different species of parrots, ostriches, turkeys and pheasants. In the farm reserve area, as well as seeing the typical animals of this area, you can feed the goats and touch the horses.

In the wetland area you will find more than twenty aquatic species from all over the world. And in the largest area, where wild animals are found, you’ll come across marmosets, coatis, lemurs, reptiles, turtles, alligators, kangaroos and green monkeys.

On the grounds, there are two small museums. The first has an exhibition of antiques and Menorcan geology. The second offers an exhibition of the sea. It is the ideal placeto spend the day with children, with different activities, themed areas, exotic and native animals, and green areas for eating and relaxing.

Visit the Talayotic funerary ship in el Lloc de Menorca.  Don’t miss the fauna of Menorca on this experience suitable for all ages.
